Standard PTFE, FEP and PFA Tubing Sizes

Metric, Imperial and Ultra Thin Wall PTFE tubing sizes

PTFE tubing has been supplied over the years in a number of different series and standards - for instance imperial thin wall, imperial heavy wall, metric and in American wire gauge (AWG) sizes.

To make it easier for our customers to choose the most suitable standard size we have presented our range in order of inside diameters.

If you cannot find the exact size you require, please ask about bespoke sizes that we can make to order.

FEP and PFA tubing is also available in the same size ranges, but some sizes may be subject to a minimum extrusion quantity.

Adtech part numbers in bold type are preferred sizes and are normally available ex-stock in PTFE.

Materials are referenced as follows

PT ID x OD = PTFE tubing

FT ID x OD = FEP tubing

PF ID x OD = PFA tubing

STW = AWG light wall tubing

TW = AWG standard wall tubing

HW = AWG heavy wall tubing

Virtually total chemical resistance and maximum working temperatures up to 260°C mean that our PTFE, FEP, and PFA tubing can be used to transport all fluid chemicals and solvents. The small sizes we offer are generally used in laboratory analysis equipment, with larger diameters up to 1000mm being used as linings in process plants. Fluoroplastic tubing can also be used to protect less resistant materials such as glass or stainless steel on stirrers, thermometer probes, and vat heaters.
