FEP Heat Shrink Tubing and Sleeving

FEP heat shrink sleeving offers all of the unique properties of fluoroplastics.

One exceptional difference to PTFE is that whilst the maximum continuous working temperature is 200°C, the shrinking temperature is only 110°C.

FEP heat shrink sleeving offers all of the unique properties of fluoroplastics. FEP heat shrink sleeving offers all of the unique properties of fluoroplastics.

Our high temperature heat shrink sleeving in FEP can be safely shrunk over temperature sensitive materials, without causing damage. Couple this property with its transparency, complete chemical resistance, total UV resistance, and non-stick nature and you have a very unique material.

  • Virtual total chemical and solvent resistance.
  • Working temperature from -200° to +200°C.
  • Remains flexible at cryogenic temperatures.
  • Very low coefficient of friction.
  • Non-stick surface.
  • Extremely high electrical resistance.
  • Very low dielectric loss at high frequencies.
  • Total resistance to UV radiation.
  • Naturally non-inflammable.
  • Non-toxic.
  • Any diameter can be made to order.

Our standard stock sizes are below.  However, if you can't see a suitable size, or you're unsure of which FEP heat shrink sleeving will best suit the demands of your application or require complimentary samples, our knowledgeable customer service team can help! Within our range of high temperature heat shrink, the FEP heat shrink sleeving is the easiest to use followed by 2:1 PTFE and then 4:1 PTFE. Select the correct size sleeve by allowing a generous amount of shrinkage, rather than using a tight sleeve if possible. FEP heat shrink sleeving needs 110°C, so the gun temperature should be at least 200°C. Adtech can supply a suitable heat gun for use with all our fluoroplastic heat shrink.
