Fluoroplastic Etching Service - PTFE Bonding

Adtech offer a service to chemically etch the surface of most fluoroplastics.

Fluoroplastics are well known as "Non-Stick" materials and therefore bonding to other substrates is a problem.

We can chemically etch selected surfaces to make them very suitable for bonding with most adhesives e.g. epoxy resins, polyurethanes, silicone RTV's etc.

We also etch the inside or outside of tubing & sleeves in PTFE, FEP, or PFA for roller covering or rubber hose lining.

The etching process we use is similar to Tetraetch.
